Samarth Samaj is one of the leading & progressive educational institutes imparting all types of education right from K.G., junior College (Commerce& Science), polytechnic and Engineering College etc. Samarth Samaj’s Educational Complex is situated at two minutes’ walk from the station on west side of Dombivli Rly. Station in Thane Dist.
Samarth Samaj is a registered Public Trust, and it was founded by Late Shri.Sakharam Seth H. Jondhale in the year 1960 with humble beginning as a Secondary School.
In the last Six decades, these small seedlings were blossomed into a giant Educational Complex Catering to 12000 students at all levels. The Management of Samarth Samaj timely, recognized the need of trained manpower in technical fields to meet the need of 21st century. Samarth Samaj introduced S. H. Jondhale Polytechnic Dombivli in the year 1984.
Another Institute of Samarth Samaj`s namely Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering is established in year 1994, which is situated at Sonarpada Dombivli(E.)
Maharashtra is pioneer state in education and industrialization in India. Till today most of rare experiments in India have been tried first in Maharashtra and then in other states. Even for new education policy Maharashtra is chosen as the first state for implementation.
Considering the need and demand of the city and places around the city, the Samarth Samajstarted Shivajirao S. Jondhale Polytechnic at Ambernath (E.) from academic year 1995-96 with the following courses.

• Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication
• Diploma in Computer
• Diploma in Information Technology
